My future job

Honestly, it is difficult for me to see myself in the future, for the same reason I don't know what I will be doing when I work and I try not to have expectations of that. However. I like the idea of ​​seeing myself working as a social anthropologist and/or archeologist (let's hope and trust that there is a labor field lol), the truth is that I still have not decided which mention to take, although I think that social attracts me more, but Who knows? Maybe double mention, I don't know. 

But what I do know is that I imagine myself traveling, knowing stories and places (past and present), trying to contribute with what I know to the people who live there, while learning from them, because I would like to create a space where academic knowledge not be considered superior and invalidate other forms of knowledge. 

For the same reason, I would like to work outdoors, knowing the different realities, in fact that was one of the reasons why I chose the career, I don't want to work in an office surrounded by the same four walls all my life. If I would talk about salary, I would like to receive enough to be able to live on it.

Maybe it is very fanciful and pretentious what I am thinking, but well I like to think that it is possible.

A Meal or Food You Really Like

If I had to choose something to eat for the rest of my life, every day at every meal, I would not hesitate to choose spaghetti. It is very simple, cheap and easy to get. It can also be mixed with other things, such as soy meat (because animals are not eaten here), pesto, tomato sauce, mushrooms or with a vegetable sauté, you can even make them with some soy sauce and vegetables!. It has been my favorite food forever, I don't know why, I remember that when I was little, I always wanted to eat spaghetti, so much that it became the menu for my birthdays or important events, in fact when we went out to eat I always was asking for it, and, if I’m being honest, I still order spaghetti whenever I can (obsessed lol). But it is not healthy to eat a lot of spaghetti, because carbs can affect our health, that is why I’m kinda trying to reduce my passion and need of eating an entire pot every day, which is very difficult considering how delicious my mother, father and grandmother cook. My grandma always cooks me spaghetti with carrots when we go to her house; and my best friend has bribed me with some (really wonderful) pesto pasta to make me watch an entire anime in one night with her (no regrets tho, it was pretty good).

The cringe

An embarrassing situation happened to me when I was in the last year of school, I was 18 years old and we had to do an exhibition about a social movement during recess in the playground. The activity had gone very well and it was time to order, but with my grade we always liked to miss classes, so we started playing. I don't remember the specific game, but I remember being with my best friend running while our classmates yelled at us, I was giving it my all, so much that I didn't see that there was a banana peel on the ground, I SLIPPED LIKE IN THE CARTOONS. My classmates and I exploded in laughter as they helped me stand up and wipe my pants. We said: How did nobody record that? Nobody believed us that it had been a banana peel because, honestly, Who does something like this happen to?

It has been one of my best falls and I'm not ashamed to relive it, even though the whole school saw it, I fondly remember each one of the stupid things we did, those laughs that make your stomach hurt, throw yourself to the ground and cry.

I always carry these memories in my heart and in the bruises that were marked on me, they are a safe dose of serotonin KJSKDJS

The best holidays ever

My best vacation was in the summer of 2018, we traveled along the Austral road with my dad, mom and little brother. We got to known many towns, places, snowdrifts, barges untill to reaching Puerto Cisnes, a few kilometers from Coyhaique. The trip lasted about a month and involved various adversities, such as walking for hours, eating at one AM, having to wait hours to get on a barge and sleeping in the car. However, all that was worth it in exchange for the beautiful places we met, the kind people who opened their doors to us, the craft fairs where my mom went crazy for buying magnets for fridge and my dad for eating seafood, jokes and "nanai" in the back seat with my brother, doing arborism in very tall trees, cold and rainy days, traveling by boat, sunsets (which are beautiful in all places and I love taking pictures of them), playing with the southerners puppies and kittens, music playing loud while we were on the road, being surrounded by the immense sea, feeling so complete. Honestly, this trip meant a lot to me, since I felt very happy, after a very difficult year, with the people that I love the most. It is unsurpassed and inexplicably wonderful.

A country you would like to visit

I'd love to be able to know as many places as I can in my life, so it's hard for me to think of just one now, especially considering the pandemic. For example, I’m very excited to know Peru and Bolivia, because I’m very attracted to their cultures and places, but at the same time meet Cuba, Norway, India and Vietnam call me. Everywhere I would like to know the different realities that converge, understand their beliefs and walk their streets astonishing me with their architecture, street art and animals that I meet on the way. As for whether I would stay to live, study or work in any of those places, I don't know, I’m a person who lives minute by minute without questioning the future, more than anything for the uncertainty of what life can be. However, I hope that my career allows me to be able to take trips to know other cultures and to be able to know and live based on it.

My relation with English

 

I consider my relationship with English quite unusual, I understand it quite well, because since I was a child I have been interested in languages. However, I focused this interest on English because it is the "universal language" and in this way I began to listen to music, watch movies and interviews, read novels and nerd books and even change my phone to English. Ironically I feel that speak English it is not going very well for me, in my head or when I am alone it sounds excellent, like a native, but when I speak it in public I die lol
